BIENNALE DI VENEZIA 2026 - In Minor Keys Pavilion
Artist: Nick Cave | Title: Two Points in Time - At Once | Curator: Koyo Kouoh
2026.09.27
Living in between,
Joy and exuberance of life,
Anguish over farewells,
Our time spent dwelling between the two,
Remembering and being alive.
Commonality of all human existence,
Magnificent scale,
Conveying the gravity of his thoughts,
Bronze as lightness,
Reflections rising to the heavens.
Pain,
Bearing the burden,
Heaviness of the world,
Affixed to the land,
Seeking release.
Richness and detail,
Lavish,
A meditation of joy to contemplate,
Transfixing,
Returning the soul to the center.
Seven,
Symbol amongst symbols,
Grief,
Creation,
Virtues and sins.
Thresholds,
Portals,
Transitional thoughts,
Eternity of time,
Today.
Immense beauty,
Joyful to contemplate,
Visually stunning,
Depth of meaning,
Cherished.
